Light Novel ‘Boushoku no Berserk’ Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Micro Magazine Publishing announced a television anime adaptation of Ichika Isshiki’s Boushoku no Berserk: Ore dake Level to Iu Gainen wo Toppa suru (Berserk of Gluttony) light novel on Friday. Novel illustrator fame and manga illustrator Daisuke Takino posted congratulatory illustrations commemorating the announcement.

Isshiki’s began penning the fantasy light novel under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels imprint in November 2017, featuring illustrations by fame. The eighth volume shipped on Friday.

Takino began drawing a manga adaptation on Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride website in March 2018. The eighth volume was released in December 2021, with the ninth volume scheduled for an October 31 release.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the novel and manga in English in July 2020. The seventh light novel volume went on sale on October 11. The sixth manga volume was released on July 12, with the seventh volume scheduled to be released on December 27.
